Dear Kiesling Family:
In the year 2000 you build a Kachelofen for us and we would like to give you some feedback in regards to your workmanship as well as say a warm thank you.
After completion of the Kachelofen you gave us detailed instructions and hands-on training in regards to the fire making process and the use of our new Kachelofen. Due to this we enjoy our Kachelofen very much and there are no problems to report.
It was very important to us to know exactly with what and especially how a Kachelofen can be fired and used. We have always followed your instruction and therefore have great success with our Kachelofen.
The Kachelofen works perfectly and to our fullest satisfaction at any time of year.
You have always been there to consult us and we would like to say thank you again for all your work and effort.
We will gladly recommend Kiesling Construction to anyone.

Best Regards,

Christine & Ruediger Mauksch

Text Box: After purchasing a 100+ year old farmhouse with no central heating,
we had Ernst & Maria design and build a Kachelofen to be out main
source of heat for the house. The cost was approximately the same as
it would have been to install an oil fired hot water baseboard
heating system.
The unit was absolutely amazing!
Average wood consumption was 3.5 chords per year.
Average temperature maintained during the winter was 70 C.
Cost of wood was my labor in cutting and splitting damaged and "junk"
wood from my wood lot. Both soft wood and hardwood were used.
Pay back on investment was six years based on cost per liter of
furnace oil.
Over a ten year period, the chimney sweep, who came yearly, never had
to put a brush down the flu.

For the 15 minutes in the morning and in the evening that was needed
to build the fire and the one minute needed to shut the door after
the fire burnt down (45 minutes) there is not a more effective,
economical way to heat you home.

Environmentally sound as well. Works great on "junk" wood, burns very
clean.

                                        Translation: Dear Kiesling Family,

We are very happy with our Kachelofen. I really use it to make Pizza, Casseroles, Rise with Chicken in a fire resistant dish, this means that even if we have a power outage we eat well. The cats have moved into the space which was intended for the firewood and our dog, Arnold, lays in his basket along side of the stove. In the picture you can see the bowl of sourdough getting ready for the bread. Very multifunctional! Merry Christmas!
