Kachelofens do not need a EPA certification due to their clean burning process.

Yes, they need a chimney however it can be either a masonry chimney or an insulated stainless steel chimney.

Yes, however it depends on the layout of your house, the design of the Kachelofen, the size of the Kachelofen and the technical calculation of the Kachelofen.

The size of a Kachelofen depends on your heat requirement, the layout of your house, the insulation values of your house, window sizes, climate, geographic location, average temperatures, etc.

Yes, it is possible to build a Kachelofen in an existing home as well as newly constructed houses.

The starting price of an individually custom designed and technically calculated Kachelofen is approximately Can$ 15,000.00
